A nature lover and baker who’s crazy about dogs and birds, Juliet Brilee has been a lifelong creative, writing, making art, and teaching. She wasn’t born with a pencil in hand, but her mother was pregnant with her while in art school—and Juliet was listening.

With a master’s degree in math and science education, and a husband who’s a tech enthusiast with a passion for gardening, she enjoys writing about brainy characters in the arts, technology, and the sciences.
Her son is blind, and he and his friends inspire her to portray people with disabilities respectfully—as the whole, fully realized individuals they are.
