Amanda Wills
Amanda Wills is the UK-based author of the Riverdale Pony Stories, which follow the adventures of pony-mad Poppy McKeever and her beloved Connemara, Cloud.
A former police press officer and journalist, Amanda is now a full-time author, because dreaming up stories about ponies is much more fun than writing news articles and press releases.
Her books are inspired by her own pony-mad childhood, growing up in the beautiful Kent countryside.
When she’s not writing, she can usually be found riding, walking or cycling along the leafy lanes and bridleways near her home.
