MaryMartha 2022 Summer Schedule

We continue to meet on Thursday morning through each week of the summer at 6 am EDT. Each month we focus on a new devotion in our prayer time together.

Prayer focus for the month of June - Sacred Heart of Jesus

We will also explore short excerpts of the book "The Life of Mary As Seen by the Mystics" Compiled by Raphael Brown, who has an extraordinary tie to the annals of Our Lady of the Cape and was very much devoted to the same mission field that we are!

This is an opportunity for women to have guided and silent prayer time. We open with the Angelus followed by a variety of prayer that celebrate the monthly theme followed by an Examen to prepare our hearts while in virtual Adoration. The total prayer time will not exceed 30 minutes and the zoom room is open by 5:45 am ET.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to email colleen@themdm.org

This summer you are welcome to participate in the Blessed & Blossoming Retreat. The retreat runs from July 3 - 23 and is self-paced. It is set over 3 weeks with weekly reading, reflective questions, a weekly challenge, and corresponding videos about inner healing from past trauma and deeper faith in Jesus as our Divine Physician.

There are 3 components to the retreat:

1) Reading/Listening. The book at the core of this retreat is "Loved As I Am" by Sister Miriam James Heidland. An audio version of the book will be provided for the retreat so there is no cost involved. If people would like to purchase a copy of this book it is available online or at most Catholic bookstores. There are reflective questions at the end of each chapter.

2) Prayer. We ask for your prayers in this retreat - whether you are participating or not, prayer is fundamental in deepening a person's spiritual life. Women from all walks of life will be joining this retreat, some with great faith - some whose faith is just budding. The retreat is an opportunity to evangelize Jesus' profound love for all and His call to repent and come back to Him.

3) Connection. For those who would like to pray as a community and discuss their journey through the retreat, we will be meeting for one hour at the end of each week. Saturday mornings July 9, 16 & 23 at 8:30 am EDT.

You can view the promo trailer for this retreat with a sample reading of the book & learn more about the content and timeline by clicking the promo bar below.

In the fall of 2021, MaryMartha evenings were focused on the teaching of St. Ignatius of Loyola to be aware of what is happening in our inner spiritual experience. To recognize what in them is of God and what is not, and to take action, that is, to accept that which is from God and reject that which is not. This way of living life can profoundly change your perspective on dealing with the everyday ebb and flow of your spirituality and with difficult situations that each of us face on a daily basis.‎‎ We began this series Wednesday September 29 and videos will continue to be uploaded through 2022 for people following this study.

33 Days to Greater Glory

33 Days to Greater Glory Book Study

33 Days to Greater Glory completes a trilogy of consecrations: first to Mary, then to Jesus, the Divine Mercy, and now to God, our Father. This final consecration to our Heavenly Father truly is the "greater" consecration, the one in which all others find their origin and end. Although the recordings of our study were done over the summer of 2021 - you can visit this magnificent voyage into the Gospel of John at any time. Each day follows the suggested daily reading, prays a decade of the rosary and in the last week we add the Litany to God the Father.

Note: Each video begins with the Angelus as they were recorded live through-out the study, just scroll ahead each video to advance to the book reading and rosary decade.
